Dr. Ziernicki has personally conducted investigations and has evaluated over a thousand industrial and machine accidents.  He has conducted over one hundred professional lectures on accident reconstruction, and industrial safety.  Dr. Ziernicki has worked on approximately five dozen accidents involving  forklifts, including sit down forklifts, stand up forklifts, all terrain forklifts, stackers and more.  He investigated accidents of Crown, Hyster, Mitsubishi, Raymond, Toyota, Moffett, Sky Trak and Yale.

Dr. Ziernicki has lectured on forklift safety and causation of accidents and also authored over fifty papers on accident reconstruction and safety analysis including three papers on forklifts. He has performed testing on forklifts including evaluation of safety issues.  Dr. Ziernicki is very familiar with the forklift industry standards such as OSHA and ANSI, and with industry practices in the forklift industry.  He has successfully passed all of multiple Daubert challenges by forklift manufacturers.  Dr. Ziernicki has been deposed and also testified in several dozens of cases in State and Federal Courts across the United States. He was qualified as an expert witness in forklift industry, including accident reconstruction, mechanical engineering, product design and safety. He has worked in the forklift cases where jurors awarded punitive damages.

Dr. Ziernicki is a registered professional engineer in Alabama, California, Colorado, Kansas, Texas and Wyoming.  He is Board Certified in Forensic Engineering by the National Academy of Forensic Engineers.
